Location: Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm, Newbury, Mass.
Description: Historic New England seeks a weekend Family Program Assistant to coordinate weekend programs and events at Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm for the 2017 season. The Family Program Assistant will coordinate family programs and functions, including weddings and birthday parties at the 1690 National Historic Landmark site, as well as give family-friendly tours at our five regional sites. Position also includes some administrative tasks, housekeeping, and assistance with farm animal care.
Qualifications: Applicants should enjoy working with the public, have an interest in history, experience working with children, be comfortable around farm animals and children, and have basic computer skills. Experience in retail sales and customer service desirable. Must be flexible and available most weekends during the season, May – October.
