Classification: Regular/part-time (five to fifteen hours per week)

Location: Boston area

Description: Historic New England seeks a part-time museum teacher whose primary responsibility will be to teach afterschool programs in the Boston area. Programs are offered to preschool- through middle school-aged students and emphasize an interactive, hands-on approach to learning history. The position offers between five and fifteen hours of work per week.

Qualifications: A minimum of a B.A. in American history, education, museum studies. or relevant field. Experience working with children is required. Willingness to be flexible and adaptable in all responsibilities and activities. Must have flexible hours for afterschool programs.
