Groundskeeper, Casey Farm

Location: Casey Farm, Saunderstown, R. I.

Description: Historic New England seeks a seasonal, part-time groundskeeper to work at Casey Farm for the 2023 season.  No experience is necessary, but landscaping or grounds keeping experience is preferred.  Some farm or agricultural job experience is also preferred.  Experience using landscaping equipment is preferred.  Valid driver’s license and means of transportation are required.  Historic New England offers flexible work schedule up to 23 hrs./week from ASAP – Oct 31, 2023.

Qualifications: The groundskeeper must be punctual and reliable, be able to take direction and work independently as well as in team setting, be able and willing to work full days of physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions, have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and be able to work efficiently and quickly. Verification of full COVID-19 vaccination status or exemption approved by Historic New England prior to the start date of employment is a mandatory requirement.

Salary: Hourly wages start at $16.75/hour paid biweekly.
