Classification: Regular/part-time (ten to twenty-five hours per week) from April through June, with the option to continue through summer and fall.
Location: Casey Farm, Saunderstown, R.I.
Description: Casey Farm seeks a part-time teacher whose primary responsibility will be to team teach school and youth programs in an outdoor setting. Programs are offered to pre-school through middle-school-aged students and emphasize an interactive, hands-on approach to learning. The position offers between ten and twenty-five hours of work per week.
Qualifications: A minimum of a B.A. in education, history, agriculture, environmental science, or related field. Experience working with children is required. Willingness to be flexible and adaptable in all responsibilities and activities. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a positive and enthusiastic outlook a plus.

Casey Farm is a 300-acre community farm based in Saunderstown, Rhode Island. The farm operates a Community Supported Agriculture Program and a variety of educational programs throughout the year.
