Description: Are you a creative professional who’s extremely detail-oriented and well-organized? Looking to break into the field of museum marketing? Apply to the Creative Services Coordinator position at Historic New England.
This position serves as traffic coordinator, ensuring that all marketing projects are tracked and deadlines are met. He or she is responsible for design and production of the Historic New England member newsletter and most printed promotional pieces as well as signage, exhibition labels, letterhead, and other public-facing, branded material. Ensures that all projects meet Historic New England’s brand standards and advance audience engagement goals. Works with outside vendors to obtain quotes, process orders and fulfillment, resolve issues, and maximize cost efficiency. Maintains a database of media coverage. Overall, the Creative Services Coordinator provides exceptional customer service and works collaboratively with staff on multiple teams to strengthen outreach efforts and promote the Historic New England brand in support of the organization’s strategic goals.
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field and at least two years job-related experience. Graphic design skills and advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop. Fully competent computer skills, including advanced working knowledge of MS Office suite, databases, internet research, and email management. Ability to interact with outside vendors, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills; familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style. Exceptional organizational skills, consistent attention to detail, and the ability to consistently meet deadlines. Must be comfortable managing multiple projects at once. Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, stakeholders, and the public, exhibiting patience, diplomacy, and tact. Valid driver’s license.
