A family owned and operated business in Red Lion, Pennsylvania, Family Heirloom Weavers has collaborated with Historic New England to reproduce authentic carpets for decades.

Family Heirloom Weavers reproduces original designs from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and adapts them for twenty-first century use. Since 1983, they have continued to grow a workforce that is comprised of eighteen employees operating more than forty looms. Their work can be seen at many historic sites including nine Presidential homes, museums, churches, and at Colonial Williamsburg. One of the last surviving United States textile mills, this small family owned and operated business makes good use of old, outdated power looms, though the setups are still painstakingly done by hand.

Family Heirloom Weavers' work is not just for museums and famous homes. Their carpets and accessories are used in many homes throughout the United States, Canada, and even Europe. Their products help return a home's look and feel to the period in which it waFamily Heirloom logos built.
