The Historic New England collection is a line of
reproductions, adaptations and inspirations manufactured by some of
the finest companies in America. The originals of items in the
Historic New England line are based on items in Historic New England's
collections, and many can been seen in the house museums.
Historic New England reproduction items available to the public include furnishings, wall
coverings, fabrics, decorative accessories, paper products and more.

We are pleased to present the Historic New England collection, treasures from our historic homes. These reproductions, adaptations,
and inspirations are now being manufactured by some of the finest companies
in America. And, the originals can still be seen in the house museums and collections
owned by Historic New England.
All items are carefully reviewed by Historic New England's curators to
maintain the highest standard of excellence and to ensure that the spirit of
the original designs is kept.
Among
the Historic New England creations are several items in this room reproduced
by Southwood Furniture from originals at the elegant Governor
John Langdon House in Portsmouth, N.H.; other reproductions and adaptations available
through fine retailers are exquisite fabrics and wallpapers from Adelphi Paper Hangings, LLC,
