Bonaparte

Species: Rooster Breed: Bantam/Cochin Bantam Cochins are known as ‘Pekins’ in Britain and Australia. These little birds are very popular both for showing and with backyarders as pets. They are very tame and pretty. Chickens are omnivores. Our Chickens all eat an organic diet of poultry pellets specifically designed to provide the proper nutrition to keep our birds healthy. They also enjoy fruit and vegetables from our gardens and organic food scraps including bread, pasta and cereals. Bonaparte came from the MSPCA. He was surrendered as part of a farm seizure of many animals most of whom were chickens. Bonaparte is a gentle bird and he gets along with all of the “ladies” just fine, in fact he seems to be very happy about being the only male bird.
