China cabinet
Originally, the dining room was only two thirds its present size. William Rantoul removed a staircase to make room for the fireplace and symmetrical china cabinets you see now. These cabinets display a variety of the family’s china collection including Armorial porcelain, Canton, Fitzhugh, and Rose Medallion pieces.
