China cabinet

The family had three sets of china that were used for dining. The blue and white Canton china, which has many pieces dating back to Captain Stephen Phillips, was used for everyday breakfast and lunch. The raspberry and gold Limoges, embedded with a “P” monogram, was used for everyday dinner. The most elaborate rose medallion china, which is marked by an “SGW” and was inherited by Anna from her father Stephen Goodhue Wheatland, was used for special occasion and holiday dinners.
