Library
The library has an entirely different feeling from the other rooms in the mansion, and is the result of the 1882 renovation. Originally the kitchen, it was converted into a library/music room. Paneled in stained pine, it reflects the darker Victorian taste and the vogue for using machine-made moldings and paneling, which were then available.
