Is there an entrance fee to greenhouses, and do I need to pay if I am coming to purchase?
There is no greenhouse entrance fee, although a donation is suggested. Guided tours (offered on the first Wednesday of the month, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) cost $6 per adult, and group tours can be arranged. The public is welcome to come at anytime for browsing and purchasing at no cost.
Are the Lyman Estate Greenhouses handicapped accessible?
Two of the greenhouses can be accessed by wheelchair. To retain historic fabric and character, the Greenhouses have not been equipped with handicapped accessible ramps, elevators, or chair lifts. The Greenhouses were built over many years, and stairs were added between each section. We encourage visitors with concerns to call ahead. We are happy to work with you to make your visit an enjoyable one.
