Paper hanger
The broad staircase leading to the second floor is lit by a tall Palladian window on the stair landing. The pillar and arch wallpaper installed by the Tysons is one of the earliest examples of a reproduction paper replicating an existing, historic paper. The wallpaper was hung in July 1898.
