Service ells
The Tysons added a service wing onto this side of the house to accommodate a modern kitchen, pantry, and laundry. The early kitchen served as a sitting room and dining hall for the servants. The Tysons' kitchen wing and a balancing wing on the western side of the house were both removed by Historic New England in the 1950s.
