This charming panel exhibition reveals the distinct characteristics of each New England state and showcases the worldwide appeal of New England's history, natural beauty, and regional attractions. Objects relating to travel in the Piscataqua Region are on display.
Domestic Bliss: Discarded, Remembered, and Imagined

Contemporary artwork by Karen Battles and Leslie Lyman incorporates the artists' found images and artifacts from the past. The artwork focuses attention on the things people leave behind—photos, letters, clothing, boxes, books—and ask viewers to contemplate the passage of time and question the nature of memory.

Historic New England and the New England Sculptors Association present a juried exhibition of contemporary sculpture. See work by New England sculptors throughout the grounds of Governor John Langdon House and in several historic rooms. Additional sculptures are on display throughout the grounds of the Sarah Orne Jewett House Museum and Visitor Center.
