How can I become a member of the Casey Farm Community Supported Agriculture Program (CSA)?

Spaces in the CSA program become available after January 1. Space is extremely limited. Past members get preference and the remaining shares are on a first come, first served basis. We do not have a waiting list. Contact the farm office after January 1 to check on available space and to fill out a registration form.

Is all of your produce grown organically?

Yes. We are certified organic by the USDA.

Is the farmhouse part of the farm tour?

One room in the farmhouse is dedicated to displaying the portraiture of the Casey family. This room is part of the farm tour.

Can the farm animals be pet or fed by visitors?

In order to best care for the farm animals, visitors are asked not to pet or feed the animals. They have carefully planned diets, and other foods could make them sick. Also, because the farm animals are in a rotation system they are usually surrounded by an electric fence for their protection.

What are the hours of the farmers’ market? Are you open at other times for the sale of produce?

The Coastal Growers Market runs Saturdays, May – November from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Produce is only available through the CSA program, Saturdays at the Coastal Growers’ Market at Casey Farm and Wednesdays at the Aquidneck Growers’ Market in Newport. There is not a farm stand on the property.
