Roseland Cottage Gardens and Carriage House
Roseland Cottage offers a particularly beautiful and gracious setting for weddings and other private parties. From May through October, the flowering trees and perennial gardens are especially lovely for events held outside or in the Carriage Room. Tents are allowed, and the lawns may also be used for games.
The property is rented only in its entirety, with one event scheduled per day. This allows the renter maximum flexibility in arranging a party. The standard rental is for six hours, which includes time for your event, as well as set-up and clean-up. However, events may be extended to fit the renter's needs.
The rental fee includes the use of Carriage Barn Room (30' X 50’) and south lawn grounds, two handicapped accessible restrooms, kitchen facilities, the use of 120 folding chairs, up to eight 60” round tables and two buffet tables (to be used in the Carriage Barn Room only).
Rates
$1,000 for six hours, $150 per hour for each additional hour
50% of rental fee is due with contract ($150 non-refundable)
Remaining balance is due sixty days prior to event
$500 security deposit is due sixty days prior to event
Directions detail: From I-395, take Exit 97. Turn onto Route 44 west; follow for one mile. Go west on Route 171 for three miles. Route 171 will merge with Route 169 north. Take Route 169 north for one and a half miles. Roseland Cottage is on the left.
From I-84, take Exit 73. Turn right onto Route 190 east. Turn right onto Route 171 east; follow for two miles. Turn left onto Route 197 east; follow for eight miles. Turn right onto Route 169 south. Travel three miles south. Roseland Cottage is on the right.
