This is a stereograph of a group of men standing outside a lobster factory or cannery in Mount Desert, Maine. There are two men dressed in suits overseeing the lobstermen as they prepare a pile of lobsters on the ground. One of the men holds onto a large scale which may be used to weigh the shellfish. Above them in the factory window a man pushes a box down a chute.
