Description

A preacher stands at the pulpit in the tabernacle on the grounds of a camp meeting in Northampton, Massachusetts. A quotation from the second book of Corinthians, chapter six, verse two is inscribed on the back wall: "Now is the accepted time". A group of women and men, who are probably singers or a choir, sit on the dais and the stairs leading to it. Pews are arranged around the chapel.
