GUSN-195195
An exterior view of the William House on Walnut Avenue in Roxbury, Massachusetts. The house is two stories high with a gambrel roof. The projecting doorway is upheld by two Doric columns, at the sides of which trellises support vines. The corner of the front porch of the neighboring house can be seen at the right edge of the photograph. A driveway leads between the two houses. A bearded man drives a single-horse buggy out of the driveway. The wrought iron doors of the gate are ornamented with heart-shaped figures. The stone footpath from the house through the gate to the sidewalk ends at what appears to be a round mounting block.
