Notes describe the 1876 Centennial in Philadelphia, including the exhibits and wares in the Main Hall, Agricultural Hall, U. S. Government building, Women's Pavilion, Horticultural hall, Old Log Cabin, and Memorial Hall, among others. Mrs. Atkinson rented rooms from the Bullock family ca. 1876 - 79 and became frineds with Mary Edgell (MIller) Bullock, great grandmother of the donor.
