Description

This publication is a small guide created for sailors of the Cape Cod Canal following the Canal's inception in 1914. The guide begins by enumerating some facts and figures regarding the size and benefit of the Canal. The guide lists four major reasons to use the Canal in the section following. Then there is a chapter entitled "Government Aids to Navigation," which are quite specific and refer to certain routes entering and leaving the Canal. Finally, there are some general sailing directions followed by a conclusion. The guide contains nine photographs total, a fold-out map, and a corrected chart of the Cape Cod Canal toll listings.
