Description

Two copies of the script for "The Pageant of Cape Cod," a production put on from August 15-19, 1914, on the banks of the Cape Cod Canal in Bourne. The cover features an illustration of a fisherman piloting a boat with a seagull overhead, a lighthouse in the background, and another ship in the distance. The pageant is described as "a magnificent out-door presentation of the drama that lies in the history and life of this community from the time of the landing of Bartholomew Gosnold and the naming of the Cape in 1602."
