Description

Subseries B. Ephemera, 1883-1933, undated (#3.13-3.18, 3.21-3.22, 3.54) includes miscellaneous ephemera items, including an invitation to the 1883 wedding of Antoinette Louise Pierce and George Frederick Pierce (1858-1934) and copies of an announcement for their fiftieth wedding anniversary in 1933. The undated items in the series were part of a small collection of letters and ephemera found in Antoinette Louise Pierce's small mahogany lap desk and consisted of mementos of her youth. The series also includes a pocket made from the wedding veil of Melissa Withington Pierce (1808-1887).
