Subseries A, Papers of Harrison Gray (1711-1794), 1756-1797 (#4.21, 6.9-6.11, OB.1.7), contains a bequest to Gray's daughter, Elizabeth (Gray) Otis (1747-1779), regarding Gray's house; several conveyances and indentures belonging to Gray; a statement regarding the confiscation of Gray's property during the American Revolutionary War (1775-1783) and an estimate of losses; and an official document certifying Gray as warrant of treasurer. The subseries is arranged alphabetically by record type.
