Subseries C, Financial, 1834-1876, undated, contains several account books that primarily document business on the farm between the 1840s and 1870. These books document expenses on the house (1853-1865), farm operations (1864-1876), a bull stud book (1868), and livestock accounts. This subseries also includes a number of cancelled checks (1864-1874), notebooks (mostly blank, 1871-1873, undated), receipts for the farm and household (1842-1877), tax assessments (1840s-1870s), and material related to associates of Edward Henry Little (1820s-1870s). The subseries is arranged alphabetically according to document type and chronologically thereafter.
