The following files correspond with Nina Fletcher Little's research and organization of the book Neat and Tidy: Boxes and Their Contents Used in Early American Households published in 1980. Mrs. Little conducted expansive research on boxes from private and museum collections. There are considerable research and correspondence files related to the survey she conducted on boxes in early American periods. This series also includes numerous folders of photographs, used as illustrations in the book.
