Design drawing titled "Clock Teak and Gold" rendered in watercolor and pencil. Front view is shown. Tall case clock has bonnet with domed pediment featuring a deep molded rim, center carved shell on arch, and carved birds with outstretched wings atop large Flemish scrolls carved with acanthus leaves on each side; and round clock face with Roman numerals. Waist section has long recessed rectangular panel with carved moldings and extending corners; carved chain of four fruit and foliage ornaments suspended from large foliate motif at each top front corner; and carved reverse Flemish scrolls at bottom front corners. Base section with retangular recessed panel; and acanthus-carved scrolls at each bottom corner; gadrooned lower edge and scrolled bracket feet with acanthus carvings. Gilding is applied to carved ornamentaion throughout. Title and scale are handwritten on drawing. Embossed at lower left corner but partially cut off is "Return to / A. H. Davenport Co. / 96 Washington St. / Boston, Mass."
