Description

Design drawing titled "Round Seat - Painted" rendered in pencil and watercolor. Upholstered circular bench has projecting central section with flat top; two arms with concave sides bisecting the circle; straight skirt; six concave curved legs; central pedestal leg; and horizontal stretcher. A top view rendered in pencil is faintly visible at lower right corner. A side view of a display pedestal is shown in the upper right corner. Plan of leg placement is faintly visible at lower right corner. Title is handwritten in pencil. Blind stamped in lower left corner is: "Irving and Casson / A. H. Davenport Co. / Boston - New York."
