Description

Design drawing titled "Buffet of Mahogany" rendered in watercolor and pencil. Perspective veiw is shown. Rectangular buffet or sideboard has double pedestal form; overhanging top; two tiers of three drawers with bleached mahogany drawer fronts and round pulls; carved Greek key motif below lower tier; supporting cabinet on base with molded rim at each end; and bleached mahogany panels on cabinet doors. Title and design notes are handwritten on drawing. Embossed at lower left corner is "Irving and Casson / A. H. Davenport Co. / Boston - New York."
