Design drawing titled"Cabinet Mahogany & Lacquer" rendered in watercolor and pencil. Perspective view is shown. Drawing depicts Chinese Chippendale-style cabinet with two parts. Upper section is recessed from lower section and has a broken arch pediment; molded cornice; and two side-hinged doors, each with four strap hinges. Upper section is covered with blue lacquer and has extensive painted Asian motifs including a scene on the upper case doors with a pagoda and flowering tree branch. Lower cabinet has an overhanging top with molded gadrooned edge; two side-hinged doors with rectangular panels of burled wood; solid base with egg-and-dart molding on top edge. TItle and dimensions are handwritten in pencil. Embossed at lower left edge is: "Irving and Casson / A. H. Davenport Co. / Boston - New York."
