Black-and-white photograph of two bureaus, one with an attached mirror. First rectangular bureau has upper recessed compartment with two shallow drawers with round rosette pulls in one tier; stiles with ring turnings; overhanging top with ovolo corners; and a narrow backboard. Lower case of bureau has overhanging top with ovolo corners; four drawers with round rosette pulls; columnar stiles with ovoid and ring turnings above reeded columns; straight skirt; and short legs with ring and ovoid turnings. Rectangular mirror is supported by two elongated carved vasiform arms with pineapple finials; arms attach to backboard of top compartment. The other Neoclassical-style bowfront bureau has overhanging top; four drawers with branch veneer, bail handles and oval backplates; curved front skirt; bracket feet; and inlaid stringing on drawer fronts and skirt. Handwritten notes on page include wood type, dimensions, and A. H. Davenport Co. detail numbers 12645 and 468.
