Renaissance Revival-style arm chair has fully upholstered rectangular back and seat; curved arms with large scrolled handholds; curved arm supports; four Flemish scroll legs; X-stretcher with circular center; and elaborate foliate carving including acanthus leaves on arms, handholds, arm supports and feet. William and Mary-style arm chair has tall back with carved crest rail; conforming lower back rail; oval caned back panel with carved frame; turned stiles; caned seat; carved seat rails; turned rear legs; Flemish scroll front legs; turned rear and side stretchers; and large carved front stretcher. Handwiritten notes on page include wood types and A. H. Davenport Co. detail numbers 258 and 7700.
