Black-and-white photograph of an arm chair and two different side chairs. Arm chair (#563) has fully upholstered rectangular back, shaped arms, and seat; single row of metal tacks along upholstered edges; carved scrolled handholds; curved arm supports with foliate carving; raked rear cabriole legs; and front cabriole legs with carved scrolled brackets, foliate-carved knees, and foliate scroll feet. One side chair (#11948) has rectangular upholstered back panel above spiral twist turned stiles; fully upholstered rectangular seat; fringe trim along lower edge of back and seat upholstery; spiral twist turned legs, front stretcher and H-stretcher; and flattened feet. The other side chair (#3438) has upholstered back with serpentine crest; fully upholstered seat; carved stiles; legs with carved block turnings; and shaped H-stretcher. Handwritten notes on pages include: abovementioned A. H. Davenport Co. detail numbers; wood types, and Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. model number "1623" for the arm chair.
