Black-and-white photograph of three different Queen Anne-style side chairs. The first chair (#7972) has a curved crest rail with lobed ears and scooped center portion; vasiform splat with pierced arch above rectangular shoe; upholstered seat with protruding rounded front corners; raked rear legs; and cabriole front legs with carved foliate knees and hoof feet. The second side chair (#742) has rectangular back with rounded top corners; vasiform splat with pierced keyhole shape at top; stepped shoe; seat with over-the-rail upholstery; cabriole legs; carved knees in front; and cow-horn stretcher. The final side chair has yoke crest with carved volutes; solid vasiform splat; stepped shoe; straight stiles; upholstered slip seat; straight seat rails; raked rear legs; cabriole front legs with pad feet; and turned H-stretchers. Handwritten notes on page include abovementioned A. H. Davenport Co. detail numbers and wood types.
