Description

Sketch rendered in pencil on trace and mounted on board, depicting a sedile. Sedile has one long seat and rectangular sides. Sides have inset panels with carved Gothic tracery at top of arch. Handwritten in lower left corner: "Irving & Casson / A. H. Davenport Co. / 601 5th Ave. NYC." Blind stamp on lower left corner of board: "Irving & Casson / A. H. Davenport Co. / 601 Fifth Ave. / New York." Sketch was found loose in photo album of sedilia (CC010.002.108).
