Photo album titled: "Mantels 52E." Title and volume number are hand printed in black on spine. Album has a beige fabric covering and 108 dark gray pages. Ten of the pages are blank. Album contains 99 mounted black-and-white photographs. Photographs are of a variety of fireplace mantels manufactured by A. H. Davenport Co., Irving and Casson, and their successor, Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. The order number and year are often shown on a display in the photographs; other numbers ae also present in some cases. Customer names are handwritten on some album pages. Named customers are: J. Harleston Parker (Boston, MA); William Y. Peters; J. W. Reed Company; Jackson Whitewood & Company; and Thompson-Starrett Company (Hotel McAlpin, New York, NY).
