Photo album titled: "Miscellaneous Chairs: Partly Upholstered, Arm, Itall., Eliz., Jacob., W & M., Georgian 12B." Title, subtitle, and volume number are hand printed in black on spine. Album has a beige fabric covering and 94 dark gray pages, some of which are now loose. Six of the pages are blank. Album contains 97 mounted black-and-white photographs. Photographs are of a variety of upholstered chairs manufactured by A. H. Davenport Co., Irving and Casson and their successor, Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. The styles of the chairs (prdominantly arm chairs) are described by the compiler of the album as including: Italianate, Elizabethan, Jacobean, William and Mary, Queen Anne and Georgian. The order number and year are often shown on a display in the photographs; model numbers are also provided in some cases. Customer names are handwritten on some album pages.
