"Cheval Glass"

Description

Design drawing titled "Cheval Glass" rendered in pencil on trace. Front and partial side views are shown. Empire-style cheval glass has two square post stiles with urn finials and carved ornaments; trestle-style base; low curved legs with acanthus-carved knees and volutes at end; turned feet; and casters. Moveable full-length rectangular mirror has arched crest wtith carved wreath and garland at center. Title and design notes are handwritten on drawing.
