Description

Untitled design drawing rendered in ink on trace. Perspective view of dressing table and attached mirror is shown. Toilet or dressing table has rectangular form with large curves at bowed front sides; overhanging top with molded edge; three shallow recessed drawers on top with round pulls and inlaid bellfowers; two drawers with bail handles and curved fronts on each side of central panel with inlaid kylix, garlands and stringing; tapered square legs with inlaid stringing and bellflowers; and brass cuffs and feet. Oval mirrror frame has molded rim with inlaid stringing; two curved supporting arms with brass ovoid and spire finials and inlaid stringing; and brackets attaching mirror to top of recessed shelves. Design notes are handwritten on drawing.
