Design drawing titled "Toilet Table of Mahogany" rendered in pencil on trace. Front view of dressing table and attached mirror is shown; top plan of table is also shown. Neoclassical-style toilet or dressing table has rectangular form; narrow splashboard; overhanging top with molded edge and plate glass top cover; two sets of two shallow drawers with bail handles flanking center drawer; carved bellflower and ribbon garland and swag on center drawer; stiles with with carved interlaced motif; and reeded and turned round legs with cuffs and terminating in ovoid feet. Oval mirror frame has two tapered columnar supporting arms with ovoid finials, foliate carving at bottom, vasiform turnings below and ringed bases. Title, design notes, "Made for W. C. Whitney," "N. Y. 8032 / " 28649" and "11284" are handwritten on drawing.
