Design drawing titled "Bureau Painted Grey & White" rendered in pencil and colored pencil on trace. Front view is shown; plan of top is also provided. Rectangular dresser has overhanging top with molded edge; five drawers with bail handles in a two-over-three arrangement; key escutcheons on lower three drawers; straight skirt with molded edge; square front stiles with painted bellflower decoration; and tapered cylindrical feet with carved cuffs. Title, "Made for C. Vanderbilt Order 27880" and "11323" are handwritten on drawing.
