Design drawing titled "Bureau" rendered in ink on trace. Perspective view is shown. Rectangular bureau or dresser has concave front with ovolo corners; overhanging top with molded edge; narrow backboard; five drawers with round pulls and key escutcheons in a three-over-two graduated arrangement; applied brass foliate decorations on drawer fronts; square rear and projecting columnar front stiles; brass capitals on front stiles; and short tapered fluted brass legs with round feet. Oval mirror has narrow frame and is attached to dresser by two tapered round arms with brass pineapple finials and brass blocks at bottom. Title and design notes are handwritten on drawing. Stamped in lower left corner but partially cut off is "To be returned to / A. H. Davenport, / 96 Washington St. / Boston, Mass."
