Design drawing titled "Bureau Painted Grey & White" rendered in pencil on trace. Front view is shown. Rectangular low chest of drawers has overhanging marble top; four drawers with bail handles and key escutcheons in a graduated arrangment; fluted stiles with carved acanthus leaves; straight apron with molded edges and carved foliate drop in center; and tapered fluted feet. Title, design notes, "Made for C. Vanderbilt / 27885," and "11324" are handwritten on drawing.
