Description

Design drawing titled "Desk of Mahogany and Inlay" rendered in pencil on trace. Front and side views are shown. Rectangular writing table has top with molded edge; shallow backboard with shaped ends; two drawers with bail handles on each side of a shallow center drawer; four tapered square legs with cuffed feet; and inlaid stringing and foliate motifs on legs and center drawer. Moveable bookrack with two open shelves and arched sides is at center rear of top. Title, design notes, "7903" and "W. S. Wicks 49064" are handwritten on drawing.
