Writing table has rectangular top with rounded corners and molded edge; tall curved backboard with vertical compartment at each end for holding papers; one wide shallow drawer; trestle-style base with two vasiform turned legs resting on horizontal bases with paw feet; one stretcher; and painted motifs on drawer front, backboard and stretcher. Title, design notes, "J. R. Andrews 48532" and "7677" are handwritten on drawing.
