Design drawing titled "Secretary of Mhg." rendered in pencil on trace. Front and side views are shown. Secretary-bookcase has double arch pediment with three turned cup and cover finials; upper case with arched glass doors and wood muntins arranged in a grid pattern; two retractable candlestands with round pulls beneath upper case doors; lower case with hinged slant-front with inlaid veneer oval and key escutcheon concealing an inner writing surface; two lopers with round pulls; two drawers with veneer panel, key escutcheon, two drop pulls on each; and turned ovoid feet. Title and "Det. # 12144" are handwritten on drawing.
