Description

Design drawing titled "Mahogany Desk" rendered in pencil on trace. Front and side views are shown; plan of interior arrangement of pigeonholes is also provided. Chippendale-style desk has hinged slant-front which opens to reveal an interior writing surface, drawers and pigeonholes; two lopers with round pulls; four graduated drawers with key escutcheons and round cut glass knobs; molded lower edge; ogee spur brackets with ball-and-claw feet. Title, design notes, and "For Mrs. Andrew H. Potter" and "detail changed & sent to factory / Sept. 18 - 1906" are handwritten on drawing.
