Arm chair has tall upholstered rectangular back with carved foliate finials; rectangular fully upholstered seat; single row of large metal tacks along side upholstered edges of back and lower edges of seat; straight arms; square stiles below back and square arm supports extending into legs; rectangular side and rear stretchers; and large pierced front stretcher with carved strapwork pattern. "A. P. Loring" and "Det. May 17 1904 / F. E. J." are handwritten on drawing. Embossed upon lower left side but partially cut off is: "Return to / A. H. Davenport Co. / 96 Washington St. / Boston, Mass."
