Design drawing titled "Dining Chair" rendered in ink on trace. Perspective view is shown. William and Mary-style side chair has tall upholstered rectangular back with high arched crest, shaped lower edge, and large metal tacks along sides and crest; ball and steeple finials atop flattened vase turnings; upholstered rectangular seat with large metal tacks along rails; turned stiles below back and legs with vasiform, ring and block turnings; Spanish front feet; turned side and rear stretchers; and large ornately carved front stretcher with center shells flanked by foliate scrolls. Chair back has all-over decoration inluding foliate scrolls, cherubs and bird. Title is handwritten on drawing.
